I knew that I wouldn't get a date to prom so I made sure that I was working just so I wouldn't have to sit at home all alone.

ReplyDeleteI like that you intentionally worked the night of prom to avoid sitting home. Rather than sitting home and feeling sorry for yourself. That tells me two things about you. 1 - you are good at trying to disguise your loneliness and 2 - you are accepting things in life that don't make you happy and are not letting them rule your life. You my not have the things in life that you feel you want, however on that night you didn't sit around, have a pity party and wallow. You took care of yourself, you stayed busy. I want to hug you too :)
